If so, HKC is seeking new Content Creators to join our growing team. Content Creators serve a critical role in the HKC community, creating blogs and multimedia content related to cross-cultural engagement or personal experiences.
As Content Creator, you will have a plenty of opportunities to share your stories and communicate with diverse people through the stories, as well as to work along with other motivated members to contribute to our mission and goals.
This position requires approximately 4-8 hours of research, writing, and editing per article and significantly more when creating videos and multimedia. Successful candidates will be able to make at least a six-month commitment to the role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating content (whether it’s in written form or multimedia) for use on the HKC website blog or social media account on a regular basis (1-2 times a month);
Works collaboratively with the copy editor to revise work and ensure quality;
- Discuss and give feedback on each other’s content with other Content Creators.
Eligibility and Requirements:
Interest and relevant experience in cross-cultural engagement, U.S.-Korea bilateral relationship, and Korean society;
Excellent creative writing or multimedia skills;
Strong communication skills to work as a team through online & offline meetings;
Experience in sharing personal stories through creative content is a plus.
